Software Defined Radio (SDR) Channel Sounding

We've been involved in software defined radio (SDR) research both for 802.11b reception and channel sounding. The 802.11b is a spread-spectrum standard and thus it is challenging to perform 802.11b demodulation using resource-limited hardware. However, it provides a unique means to perform ubiquitous channel sounding, because of the auto-correlation properties of the direct-sequence spread-spectrum signal.
